Manchester United representatives will meet with Lecce directors on Tuesday to discuss a deal to sign Patrick Dorku.

Lecce are reluctant to let Dorku leave in the middle of the season, but would not turn down an offer in the region of €40m or €35m plus add-ons, which would be a huge number for a player who has only just made it through the ranks.
Lecce’s director of football Pantaleo Corvino is currently in Milan to hold talks with the four Serie A clubs Juventus, Napoli, AC Milan and Inter who have shown interest in Dorku, and it is expect that the 20-year-old’s agent Kingsley Ogbodo will also be there.
Meanwhile, Lecce have closed the door on selling Dorcu in January. So Manchester United and four other Serie A clubs are ready to make deals in the summer window.
Dorku is a Nigerian-born player from Copenhagen and has represented Denmark since the U18 level. He has now played four times for the senior team and scored one goal.
Position-wise, Dorku started his career at Lecce as a left-back before playing a variety of roles including wing-back, left winger and most recently right winger. Therefore, he would be a good fit for Ruben Amorim’s left wing-back role.
